Redfeather's Youth 20 (or Y-20) is the perfect snowshoe for that beginning experience. Created for kids from 5 to 9 years old (up to 80lbs. with gear), the Y-20 snowshoes feature all the "big boy" stuff we put into all of our snowshoes, including a V-Tail design for great mobility and speed - two things kids love to have any time of the year.

Redfeather has snowshoes for just about any child that can walk, from Snowpaws for 3 to 6 year olds that make Abominable Snowman tracks in the snow, to the Y-20 for children up to 80 lbs featuring the Youth Binding, and the Y-22 for kids up to 125lbs featuring the Summit Binding.

Affordable and fun, this is our way of getting the kids out of the house.

Bindings: Our Youth Binding is both flexible and secure, and features lateral support, and quick adjusting toe, mid section and heel straps.

Hinge: Live-Action Hinge lifts the tail of the shoe from the snow with every step for added mobility and speed.

Crampon: Aluminum front crampon has superior bite for traction and stability.

Decking: TX 35 Rip Stop - Superior puncture and abrasion resistant material that stays soft in sub zero temperatures.
