Bindings

Redfeather provides specific bindings with every snowshoe we make. However, you might prefer a different binding that might be more suitable to your particular stride, your foot size, or your personal snowshoeing comfort and style. So we provide all of our bindings as separate accessories, as well.

Ultra Binding

 

The Ultra, available on the Guide and the Alpine, is an ultra lightweight, “Z” style binding system that crosses the top of the foot in three places and can be adjusted with two simple pulls of the high quality nylon straps.  It also features an injection molded ratchet system for a secure and stable fit on the back of the foot.  Sides of the Ultra Binding System are raised and textured to eliminate lateral movement of the foot, and surround the sides of the foot providing even more stability.  The sides of the Ultra Binding System are made of semi rigid injection molded polyurethane that retains its suppleness down to -150 degrees Fahrenheit.
